 A short while ago I wrote an article on manifesting the Full Time RV Lifestyle. But before you want to manifest this type of lifestyle you may have to over come some fears. In almost all areas of life it is fear that holds us back from trying something new or different. You do not have to worry that this is something that only you suffer from, it is an affliction that is common to all of us.

If you have a desire to change your lifestyle completely internet marketing advertising  such as taking up the Full Time RV Lifestyle, you are going to confront some fears. You will face smaller fears such as what will our friends and family think? You will also face larger fears such as will I be able to see my family as much as I would like.

Then there will be the knowledge fears, such as will I know what to do? Will I be able to drive the RV that I am dreaming about? What about breakdowns? And what if I don't like Full Time RV'ing?

When you listen to the motivational speakers they tell you to just boldly step out and take the first step. Then when you have taken the first step, you take the second step and so on to your goal.

But for many taking that first step just is not that easy. But there is a way to make it easier, and that is with knowledge. Knowledge is one of the reasons you are here reading articles, since possessing knowledge can make any thing easier.

As an example when I moved into an RV I worried that I would not see much of my children anymore. But what actually happened was that my children would fly down to where we were, especially if we happened to be in Mexico, and then spend two or three weeks with us. As it turned out we spent more time with our children than we ever did before. Visits before our move to an RV were usually a few hours here and there between their and our busy schedules. So now I have this knowledge that I can pass on to you telling you that you will not loose touch with your family members.

By acquiring information you can also learn effective ways to communicate via cell phones, email, blogs and web pages. Knowledge thus becomes the polar opposite of fear. The more knowledge you acquire on a subject, the less you have to fear about it.

The only area where you cannot really obtain knowledge will be regarding the fear of what your friends will think. In this area I can only state an opinion. My opinion is that true friends will be the ones that support you in your endeavors no matter what they are. People who want to keep you down are usually people who do not want to see you succeed at something that they have probably dreamed of doing, but were afraid to do. This type of people I have removed from my close friends list, although I do include them when emails are sent about the fantastic lifestyle we are enjoying, and the new places we are seeing. Some times it does feel good to get a little dig in.

So if you dream about becoming a Full Time RV'er, but have fears, start reading, and talking to other Full Time RV'ers. You can find articles such as this one, as well as a number of good RV Forums where you can ask questions and discuss concerns. You will always find people that have had the same concerns and fears as you have. These people will also have discovered different ways to resolve these fears. Some of these ways may work for you.

In the TV series we heard the line "To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before." This is great for TV, but in real life it is great to know that others have done what you want to do, and they have the knowledge to share. Now the boldest thing many of us have to do is pick up a new book, or open a new web page. Then as with everything else as you get comfortable with the basics of a totally new lifestyle, your adventuresome side will come out and you will start to push the envelope of your experience. This is where the fun begins. You have overcome your fears.
